I had a really and experience today. We came for Mother’s Day and arrived when it opened. There were tons of empty tables inside but they kept trying to seat us outside. There was nobody else seated outside. Everyone who came after was seated inside. We tried sitting outside and it was not enjoyable so we asked again to sit inside. Finally, we got a table inside but the whole experience put a negative taste in my mouth. Don’t think I’ll return.

I’m a regular at this Joey location & have been for years. Today service was terrible. Our waitress sat us, asked for our drink order & took 20 mins to bring the drink. During this time she sat several others & brought their drinks to them immediately. Once we got her attention, she brought us a watered down drink that had been sitting at the bar due to her delay in bringing our beverage. She never returned to ask if the drink was okay. I’ve been to Joey in every state I’ve visited and NEVER has my experience been so bad. Overcooked steak, undercooked salmon then I was told they cook their salmon to “medium soft” what even is that? Internal temp went out the door? I’d never come back! Not to mention having a RESERVATION for 11 and not being seated until 11:30 😐

Portions are extremely small. For example, I ordered a salad, (roughly $35) - it came to me as a a small side salad. I was told this is the dinner portion. Very disappointed in that aspect. The place had plenty of vacant tables, so not sure why service was so slow. Took 15 min just to get each round of drinks. Staff was friendly but never acknowledged any of the issues above. Just carried on as if this were all normal.

The staff at Joeys is ridiculous. The hosts are not friendly and kind of rude. There is not enough bartenders or servers. I don’t understand the lure or popularity of the restaurant other than it is pretty inside. The food is marginal. They got rid of the guacamole. There is not enough gluten free options. Never going back.

Steak was really tough even though it was cooked to medium temp, the salmon was watery, broccolini was raw, gyoza came in cold, and to top it off, our server rarely came to check on us and never came around after we got our food. We waited 25 minutes after we finished eating for our check so I had to walk up and ask a different server to close us out. Incredibly disappointing service for the price they charge. I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse experience anywhere else.

I was disappointed with the lack of service from the waitress. Also, they never brought a glass of wine. We had to ask for appetizer plates, utensils, napkins, water, sparkling water refill which she refilled the cups with regular water due to lack of paying attention. The wrong type of beer ordered was served, and advised if we kept it then on the house and they didn't deduct. Noise level was loud.
