The steak was cold and the sauce was too salty. Appetizers were good. For what it was, the food was overpriced.
Joeys had become a family favorite of ours over the past few years. Our family loves to go for quick bites, and celebrations or even the regular family dinners. Service was slow. Took at least 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. My $5 soda was never refilled or offered to be (she was never around to get it refilled either). Overall, way overrated and overpriced for what you get.
I recently tried the Chilean sea bass at JOEY'S, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The fish had a fishy taste and didn’t seem very fresh. I’m not sure if it was a storage or preparation issue, but it was disappointing. I've had great meals here before, so I’m hoping this was just an off day.
Our food was lukewarm, and our server was mostly MIA.
The staff seemed very interested in actually doing their job. There were at least 5 people up front doing nothing but talking. Staff didn’t offer us their comp champagne, but proceeded to offer it to the other guest who were seated after us. The food was actually really good, so i can’t complain about that. Disappointed in this visit because of the staff. Probably won’t go back anytime soon.
Good options for food and very good. This was my 3rd time in a month or so. Service was very bad. Server assigned to us went on a 30 min break so we didn’t get appetizer until after we got our food first. Servers don’t work as a team probably cuz they don’t benefit from the tips. Good thing service was good first two times I went. Otherwise I wouldn’t go back.
The service was so slow. Not to the fault of our server. The food was expensive and cold.
Service was poor, waitress never told us she was going on break. Was not able to order a drink for like 15 min even though the food had came out already. Drinks took forever to arrive as well. The covering waiter made a snarky remark "are you feeling better" I never felt any type of way nor were we rude to any waiter. Food was fine nothing out of this world. Don't think this will be a dinner location option again.
