We had breakfast at the Riverview FL location. The food was very basic. The staff was friendly and the service okay. Unfortunately the place wasn't as clean as some of the other locations we've visited. We had to ask that they clean the floor around our table. Food and trash was left on the floor. Will not eat here again.

My ((Sunday, December 11tg @7:30am)) new breakfast eating out reception consisted of the sleepy, stoned, disinterested, "I hate my job", I'm far too special to talk to customers" and on and on and on. I'd have fired her on the spot if I were the MOD but I'm not so I didn't, but I'd have loved to. Just left after a very mediocre, borderline poor experience. The service was great, but the food was poor. My husbands chocolate chip waffle was fine at best, and the sausage links were good. My blueberry waffle (with a $4 up charge for being considered 'specialty') came with a small handful of blueberries on top, not even baked in. The waffle itself tasted like it was premade and had been sitting under a heat lamp for at least 15 minutes. Food is great, but management sucks. This place has "standards" and regardless of what a customer requests, they are unaccommodating which is ridiculous. They want to serve their food "as is" on the menu and their view of a "good menu" is what management wants, not the customer. Also, for how casual their uniforms are, they are highly against individuality so if you plan to work here get ready to put bandaids on those tattoos! They're just so out of touch with reality. I ordered Grits and eggs with pancakes. Very simple. My grits were super watery and under cooked and my pancakes cold. My husband had a little of a lot and his potatoes were cold. He asked for Katchup twice and never got it. This is a busy establishment and their was a line of people waiting to eat and one whole empty row of seating inside. Honestly, this was the worst, most expensive breakfast I've ever had. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was two THIN pieces of bread with a little egg and pretty much no cheese. How do you allow something so pitiful to leave your kitchen? But I guess the orange "garnish" makes it presentable? The manager wanted to re-do my sandwich, but that wasn't the way to resolve; how about you ask me what was wrong and we can have a conversation about how to make the food appealing and appetizing? KeKe's locations are typically amazing. This one is certainly the worst I have seen. Despite occasionally getting a nice and helpful server, my food has never once come out correct after 2 years of coming back in to try it out since moving to the area. Yesterday, my experience was the worst yet. I was charged a lot extra, not a single meal at my table came out correct, and never once did the management try to help us despite offering to bring out one of the items which never made it out. Decided to visit Kekes this morning for my Mother's Day breakfast and sadly the experience was a disappointment. The attitude of the staff was a mirrored image of the managers; rude. Had to ask for coffee refills, as the server failed to offer such refills, nor did the server refill any other drinks at the table. Finally the food was either undercooked or overcooked. I went there for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. They were out of chips, sweet potato fries and several other items. One friend ordered a sandwich and was offered one of the sides for an additional charge. I was surprised that they didn't substitute an item at no additional charge. That can't be blame on supply chain issues-- they could have purchased chips at a nearby grocery--it was before noon. My salad had mostly rusted and wilted lettuce in it.
