I'm not sure about other locations but the people here are very discriminating. If you have tattoos or look different, get ready to be treated different. I've never been treated so rudely, even the manager Silkia was unprofessional and rude. It's almost like everyone wanted to keep their distance. I'm not even 5' tall, I'm not a creep or scary.
I have never been a big fan of Keke's but I saw that this location had a better review than the others. I dined at Keke's with my 2 siblings on Monday at 10:30am. Service was very slow. Took 45 minutes to serve us our food in an empty restaurant. Coffee was not strong, salad came out warm and my egg and cheese sandwich came out without cheese. I would not recommend any Keke's location for breakfast for lunch.
22 hours ago My debit card was charged twice. I called to get help, but now six days later it is not fixed. Instead, they combined the two charges into one and now charged me again. I had to alert my bank and reported it as fraud. I will not return to that location. Sadly, I love to eat at Keke's, and I usually eat at the Winter Park location. I have never experienced this. I'm so disgusted.
I love kekes but the last couple of times I've gone we have go the worst service by the same server named Jake. He takes 10+ with the drinks, once he takes our order he doesn't check on us at all, he doesn't bring our food out, we have had to wait forever for him to bring us the the check and the last time I went I wait d 30 min for him to come pick up my card to charge it before I decided to pay cash. I am a foodie and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! This location is closest to my house but unfortunately this is the 3rd visit this year that my omelet was extremely over cooked and inedible! At 9am on a Monday with about 2/3rds empty table you would expect good service not having to flag waiter down for drink refills. Also, Keke's loves to upcharge. Beware of any substations...
The manager was the worst I seen in years. My friend ordered a dish that by standard apparently is a cold sandwich, however the meat felt frozen. He just wanted it a little warm maybe room temperature but instead to come up with a solution or be kind, she made him feel like he was incompetent and offer different sandwiches. to make matter worst his food arrived after we all finish eating and that is after waiting over an hour for the food. Needles to say we would not be back again.
Paying $2.79 for an espresso size cup of coffee was a bit expensive especially when I ordered it with 2% milk that was served a tiny plastic container. I had to ask for more milk with each coffee refill. I would have ignored it had my server not said, "No problem" at lease 12 times! "No problem" was her response to everything I said. NO PROBLEM??? This place sucks, it's over priced low quality food and small portions. So if you want to get ripped off and have a plain no frills breakfast this is your place. Don't know how they have more than one location. To bad someone hasn't opened a good ole diner
So I contemplated writing this review as for the first time in my life I was truly upset with a restaurant but I felt the need to talk about my experience. I came for brunch on my birthday and felt disrespected. My daughter placed our name on the waiting list and was given a buzzer. I was standing right next to her as the hostess joked with her.
