My mother was her years ago to rehab. The facility was atrocious. I just didn't see a lot of care, I saw people left unattended, in hallways screaming. I couldn't wait to get her out of there. we are not in a place looking for skilled nursing and this place was suggested. Places can change so i will check it out but I do find it very disturbing they have more picture s the ocean scenery than their own facility. They are 15 mile from the beach and their patients are in the position t enjoy it. That is strike 1.

Run from this place! When you first walk in you are greeted with the smell of urine. Once you walk down the hall the smell is intensified and then the smell of feces hits you. They must have masked the odor on the day I went in for my tour. My mom received very POOR care at this location. She has bedsores that are so deep you can see the bone. She would call for help and the staff wouldn't respond until a good 30 minutes later. I went to visit her once and she said that she had been sitting in her diaper with feces... read more

My Mom received very poor care here. I had to clean her myself because she smelt so bad. I removed her as soon as it was clear that nothing I said was going to done to improve her care. They seemed to be about making money and nothing else. I would like to point out one nurse, a very tall African American man. He was excellent, caring and professional. Other than this one fellow, I was very disappointed and sad for the other patients.
