This is my second time at the health center. I live in a wheelchair and (this time) I fell and fractured my left upper leg in four places. Hospital, surgery and back here to rehab. Upon entering all the staff greeted me saying how sorry they were that I had an accident. Daily physical therapy (which is top rated) and excellent care. I recommend La Paloma because of the care they provide to the patients. The nurses are compassionate and treats the patients as if they are their families. La Paloma also has an amazing rehab team and have pogo their therapy dog who brings smile to everyone.

My father was a rehab resident at La Paloma for three weeks in June, and we were very satisfied with his care. The staff make the place special - everyone we worked with was professional, caring and friendly...with work that is often difficult and under-appreciated. The facility itself was sufficient with pleasant outside grounds; our experience was very good and we would recommend it.

This is a great place. Love the staff as a whole. Everyone is so helpful and energetic. They have great therapy.

La Paloma is a good nursing home as far as the industry goes. They have regular high scoring surveys and their staff is friendly and communicative. I always recommend this skilled facility to families and have had many happy residents come in and out of here. They have done a lot of work to the facility over they years and are constantly improving and upgrading.

My dad was sent here after recovering from a month hospital stay due to blood clots. They kept him in bed and never walked him, which does not help when you have a PE. They had him do physical therapy for 10 minutes in a day. He was left alone in pain a lot of the time and the physical therapy needs improvement as well (I am in this field). This place is unkept, not clean and I feel like the staff is more socializing rather than working. because where are they if they aren't checking on patients? Worst experience! I had an emergency surgery & was too weak to go home from the hospital 1) I was told Dr. Novac was my doctor while at the facility. Dr. Novac visited me once after I was admitted & barked questions at me. A couple of days later, there was confusion on my new prescriptions & I was concerned about my abdominal surgical site. I requested to talk to him again he refused to meet with me in the 11 days I was there. Husband called facility asking to speak to him & was told it wasn't permitted. (Red Flag) 2)... read more
