When discharged from a hospital and being placed at La Paloma Healthcare Center, I was dismayed by the negative reviews I found on the internet. After my three week stay in a room with two other women, I came away with my own opinion. This is an institutional setting and no, things did not always go my way but I witnessed, and experienced, many acts of kindness and good care. We received excellent care in the month of March and April by the doctors, nurses and caring staff. The facility is cleaned daily by the most conscientious maintenance department, the CNAs like Bianca and Janette and Ingrid treat patients with kindness and dignity. I am so thankful we chose LA Paloma.

I recently was a patient at La Paloma. I am so grateful for all the people there who helped me with my recovery!! I was treated like a Queen!! My Dr., my Physical therapists, all my nurses, the entire staff, were so kind and good to me!! I got so strong so fast! My family was amazed at how quickly I recovered after major surgery. I absolutely loved my stay at La Paloma! I was treated like I was V.I.P.! Every person working to help me recover from very major surgery, was so kind! My sister just finished her second visit to La Paloma to recover after a couple bad falls. On behalf of Kris, and our entire family I'd like to let others out-there know that La Paloma Healthcare Center is excellent. If you're looking for a rehab facility, I highly recommend you see if La Paloma has room for your loved one. You won't be disappointed. There's plenty of qualified staff 24/7. There's a lot of healthcare facilities in the county, but this is the one I would recommend over and over again. From the minute we got admitted to the planning of the discharge, we truly felt La Paloma had our best interest in mind. The multitude of Doctors, nurses and care givers that see patients there are awesome, and together with their management team they offer a wealth of knowledge for your family members next step in their healthcare. To my surprise, a Great place for my mom!! First of all I want to let anyone that reads this, that no one is paying me to write this! I don't work here, neither do any of my friends or family! I'll tell you, this was our family's first experience with having to put our 81yr old mother in a care facility and we were quite afraid after reading the reviews of La Paloma and all the other places her insurance would cover. ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE TO REHAB. I spent 6 weeks here, for intravenous antibiotic treatment, due to a severe diabetic infection in my left foot. Discharged today.....sadly. The place is incredible. The physical building is well kept. Clean, modern, spacious and safe. The huge landscaped grounds are like a park. Outdoor activities are encouraged on the patio or in the gazebo. So peaceful. Recently I have my hip replacement and was admitted to La Paloma Healthcare Center. It is a very nice place to rehab. Clinically staff are professional. They have enough man power to serve patients. Employees there are very friendly, patient, and helpful. I spent two weeks there and had a good help. They always wear a smile when called upon, and didn't mind to do more.
