My father fell and was admitted to Tri-City Hospital. His Doctor and social services recommended that he needed skilled nursing for rehab. I was hesitant to place him in skilled nursing because of a terrible experience we had with his wife the previous year at a different facility. I saw the great ratings for La Paloma on Yelp and chose to place him there. I am so grateful I did! The physical therapist and nurses were wonderful to our dad. Recently my 93 year old Father took a fall and had to go to skilled nursing for rehab, after being discharged from Scripps. They gave us a list of places to choose from, our first choice was La Paloma(it had good ratings) they were full and he had to go somewhere else( I won't mention name) I couldn't get him out of there fast enough! My wife recently spent several months at La Paloma Healthcare after a fall in our home. We found the staff to be top quality and there were several individuals who deserve special praise. All of the therapy staff members were professional, caring, and always encouraged my wife to do her best, something critical to the success of any therapy program. My mother-in-law was at La Paloma for almost a month. She loved it. Staff was so caring they made her feel they cared about her. When she left she said"I am going to miss this place".

My Dad is currently receiving healthcare at La Paloma. He has been there two weeks. He receives excellent care from nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and nurses assistants. There is always a good positive feeling which starts right at the check in station as you enter the building. The grounds are well kept with plenty of room to walk and sit with your loved ones. I found myself at the unfortunate medical condition and needed physical rehab. The minute I came in I was met with nothing but friendliness, kindness, and care from the staff. The staff is amazing from the bubbly receptionist to the nurses' station ,C.N.A.s, nurses, Bingo lady and therapist all helped me feel important. Within 1 week time I went from not being able to use the toilet by myself from walking all over the place without help. I am so grateful for La Paloma Health Center nursing staffs. My family member has been cared so well. The CNA's are very caring and kind. They treated him like a family. I sincerely would like to thank his admission CNA Farnaz Ghasemisn and Admission Nurse Ashley. These Staff made the transition from hospital to rehabilitation very smoothly. I highly recommend this center.

La Paloma is outstanding rehabilitation center. I am impressed with the professionalism of the nursing, therapist, administration and house keeping at this facility. I have looked after a client here from outside agency for three weeks and the minute I walked in I was impressed with the cleanliness and friendly environment of the facility. I was in this nursing home for three weeks last year. The nurses aides were great. The room was extremely hot but they brought in a fsn for me which helped. I only have one complaint. NEVER let them automatically deduct money from your account. I overpaid my account by $127.00 in January and I am still waiting for a refund. I have called them many times and the accounting person won't even take my calls. My next solution will be to take them to small claims court. I am not sure ho to solve this problem at this point.
