You really can't go wrong here. Docs are friendly, thorough and caring. All care is discussed in advance, with an estimate, prior to proceeding. We got good advice to help us reduce weight gains in our pets, followed it, and found that it really works! All staff clearly love animals and help nervous pets to calm down. Best of all, our pets are happy and healthy.
The Lafayette Animal Hospital has been my "go to" Vet for 23 yrs. Some docs come and go, but they are always knowledgeable and friendly. Over the years, I've never been dissatisfied.
I just wanted to say something about Dr Odea where are you, DR Odea, I've been to practically every vet place out here in Fremont and nothing compares to when you treated my german shepherd DIVA You showed her compassion and took the time to explain things to me.I cant find anyone out here with the knowledge and caring you have. anyone looking for a good dr for your dog he is the man to go too I miss him
Dr. Drozdz performed oral surgery on our family cat to address tooth resorption in 4 of her teeth. She is a changed cat -- and immediately after the surgery. This is a common and painful issue for cats and I had no idea how much pain she had been in until her behavior changed for the better post surgery. Thanks Lafayette Animal Hospital and thank you Dr. Drozdz!
I LOVE these folks! They are super competent and caring and friendly and the price is right. We use them both for our dog's vet help and also for boarding when we are away on trips. Our Teddy has been with them for 11 years now, and his predecessor, Bear, was with Lafayette Vet for many years before that.

We've been taking our pets to this vet for 25 years, and they are the best. Saved one of our lab puppies from parvovirus. And saved our rabbit from sure death after she ate a Xanax she found on the floor. And they don't even treat rabbits! Excellent vets who are compassionate too, and go the extra mile for animals.
Dr Kessler is the greatest. Amazing with my little feral cat which we thought would be a night mare. No problems what so ever. He talks to cats.
Doctor Kestler and Doctor Radcliff ROCK! The practice is busy but the doctors always pay attention to concerns and take their time with their patients and the patients' people.
Honestly, we are so happy to have found Dr. Kestler and Dr. O'Dea. The entire staff goes above and beyond to give the attention, care, and expertise needed for our animals. We have a kitty who just celebrated her 19th birthday and there have been so many close calls. All the physicians are extremely focused on each animal and they follow up with you continually to make sure you know the care extends after you leave the clinic. This is a very caring community.
