I've been going here for 10 years and really like Dr Kestler. There are several vets closer to my house but I drive all the way to Lafayette just because of the knowledge and care my dogs receive here. Dr Kestler works with me and is open minded in the treatment of my dogs. I do rescue and my fosters can be aggressive or have other behavior issues but the staff always treats them well and works with me to give them great care.

Just wanted to add to my review. Yesterday we had to put our 14 year old dog to sleep and our experience at Lafayette Animal Hospital was the best that you can get. The doctor was amazing and kept telling us over and over that we were making the right decision for both he and our family. She made it clear that we should leave after he had passed and not worry about payment until we picked up the ashes. We have been going to Lafayette Animal Hospital for 25 years. They are clean, thorough and take the time with animal and human. When our beloved Sheltie had to be put down Dr. Kestler took time to write to our two little boys and explain what had happened and how much he knew they loved Blaze.

The office staff, techs, and doctors are consistently friendly, compassionate and helpful. Visits to the vet can be sooo stressful for my cat AND myself and they make it as stress free as possible. I really am overall very pleased and grateful for the services rec'd at Lafayette Animal Hospital. Thank you all!!!

Dr. Pearson is fantastic and took very good care of our dog. However, the front desk staff are lacking in customer service skills. There seems to be a lack of communication between the staff and the Doctors as far as scheduling appointments and pick up/drop off times and when this confusion arose the front desk girls took on major attitude. Not the kind of people I want to talk with when I am worried about my dog.

After moving from the East coast where my son in law was our fur baby doctor for many years, I was very uneasy about who would take care of my old lab. I decided after reading a lot, to see Dr. Pearson and he was wonderful with our "Frank". We have since seen Dr. Kestler and again we were very satisified. I have highly recommended Lafayette Animal Hospital to many friends and I feel that they love our old lab almost as much as we do.

Everyone at LAH, especially Dr. Kestler have our sincerest of thanks for taking such good care of our dog who had surgery to remove 6 or so stones from his gallbladder a couple weeks ago. I am so grateful for their kindness and ability to deal with the issue at hand for the sake of our pet. Kudos to everyone at Lafayette Animal Hospital!

I trust dr. Kestler. He really cares for the animals. I live in San Francisco but I have been going to see him in Lafayette for the last 6 years.

The doctors are fantastic, very attentive and thorough and the staff is very efficient and friendly. We are very happy with Lafayette Animal Hospital!
