I have had several experiences with Dr. Kestler, I think incredibly highly of him. To the point I recommend all my clients to him. I manage a grooming salon not far from the hospital, called Hound Lounge. I always sing his praises to anyone asking for veterinary recommendations as well as using him as a second opinion if I believe my clients aren't in the best hands with their current veterinary hospital. I've been taking my animals to this practice for over 30 years and they are great. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I usually ask for Dr. Radcliffe, just because I've taken my pets to him for so long. I even get follow up calls from him asking how the pet he had seen, was doing. I,don't get that from any of my doctors. :)

Extremely competent and insightful veterinarians. Dr. Radcliffe has followed two generations of our dogs and we completely trust him. When he's unavailable, each of the covering vets has been excellent, both in routine matters and in emergency interventions, as when our Rhodesian Ridgeback took a snake bite to his belly. Highest recommendations to this hospital.

We have been with LAH through 6 dogs and early on with a Vet no longer there I had a real problem, but time has solved that and Dr. Pearson has our utmost respect. While a practice in Lafayette will always be more expensive, they are no more and in many cases, fairer than others in the area--Four Seasons for example. We put down our 13 1/2 year Lab today and our 14 yr old GSP 6 months ago and Dr. P handled them both with respect and professionalism. Our family pets have been patients of Lafayette Animal Hospital for 50+ years. About a year ago we had the good fortune to meet Dr. O'Dea who has saved two of our Senior dogs during separate life threatening crisis. In both dog's cases I was sure they would have to be euthanized. Dr. O'Dea has met me after hours, on a Sunday and several times on his day off, every time conveying dedicated concern for the dog's safety and well being. I had been through quite a few vets over the years and never found one that I was comfortable with or that didn't try to charge me a fortune for things that were mostly unnecessary. A friend of mine recommended that I give Lafayette animal hospital and Dr. Kessler a try and oh man am I glad that I did! Dr Kessler really cares about what he is doing and helping animals, he always has plenty of time to spend with me addressing all of my concerns and going over all of the options for my special needs senior dog. We have been coming to Lafayette Animal Hosp. since our 1st Airedale came into our life....we now have Airedales 3 & 4 that's over 20 yrs. Dr. Kestler has taken care of all of them from puppy hood to doggy heaven (in some cases) and I can't say enough about his care and compassion for our dogs. The staff is really wonderful & caring. Sometime the office gets pretty busy and there may be a wait....but I know there have been a couple times that one of our dogs has caused the urgent need to see the Dr. and made others wait... read more

Had a first experience that was not great. They totally took care of me and my dog after. Great overall experience from Vet services to Shelter.
