We owe a couple rounds of whisky to the Founding Father of Gastown, Captain Jack Deighton. Also known as "Gassy Jack," he was a pilot turned saloonkeeper who loved to gas, & no, that doesn't mean what you might think it means. In Victorian times, the term meant to talk a lot & the Captain loved to do just that. Mmmm, “That crispy fried chicken sandwich” is totally worth the carbs!
Good food but glasses of wine were more like 3oz for $13 Maybe the bartender had buddies in that night to pour the other half to his friends on the house
Came into local today for the first time with a few friends from Victoria... we need one of these! I love how you guys have a great selection of beers. Justine was our server and she killed it. She's hilarious to talk to. Thanks for making our visit so rad!
