My friends and I ate here the night before the 2019 BMO half marathon. I had the Diablo burger. It was very flavorful and surprisingly not spicy, even with all of those jalapenos. One friend had a curry dish and the other friend also had a burger. All meals were enjoyed. We enjoyed each others company, but we did not enjoy the very loud 'bro' (big muscles, tight tees, backwards caps, etc) crowd that was surrounding us. A friend and I came here last Saturday night, I had not been here since it was Chill Winston. Totally. Freaking. Packed. But, it was Saturday night at 9 pm, and a nice warm evening outside too. Friendly staff and food came pretty quickly. The fried chicken sandwich is pretty good here! Love the patio.

Came in for brunch today. Had the braised beef hash and the hubby got the fish tacos. Those along with their mimosa's were delicious, as expected!

Came with my son and he really enjoyed his burger. I had the salad with grilled chicken and avocado. It was great. Our server Sandra was awesome. Their place has such a cool vibe and the music was excellent too!

Great! We have a LOCAL in Toronto, so I wanted to try the one in Vancouver. The tacos were delicious as always, and I love for the donuts. Our server Maddy was this blonde, bubbly delight, who made our experience fun. Thanks, Vancouver!

We stopped here for a drink and snack and the place is hopping. Friendly and great service and a fun atmosphere. We snacked on the pierogis which was filled with cheese and had bacon and caramelized onions. It was pure comfort food and delicious. This will be definitely on my go to list next time I get to Gastown.

Out of curiosity, I came to Local Public Eatery for the first time to try out this restaurant. I love the vibrant lively atmosphere here! The food is absolutely fantastic & there are good varied selection of excellent alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages. It is a pleasant surprise how wonderful this place is. A fun, energetic, and welcoming place to spend some time in Vancouver! I was visiting with my Mom for a quick two-day trip to celebrate her birthday, and we found our way into Local purely out of serendipitous luck.
