Loved it! Wonderful location. Fun, lively atmosphere. Great outdoor patio. Very good beers. We only had apps, but the beef tacos are amazing!

Awesome spot in Gastown! Great spot to enjoy the Gastown vibe. Highly recommend the ahi tune poke and slush. Great spot for people watching and enjoying the view of Water Street. Our server, Amanda, gave us a bunch of tips and tricks for getting around Vancouver--she's the best! Will definitely return on our next visit to Vancouver!
Great location with a variety of options on the menu without breaking the bank. My friend and I were visiting from out of town, and we wanted to grab some dinner as we strolled around downtown. The wait was surprisingly short for Canada Day. We sat on the patio which is always good for people watching. I got a sleeve of the Strange Fellows Blackmail Stout and Malaysian curry rice bowl.

Whenever I get off work I am usually on the hunt for a happy hour... but Local doesn't have one :( so if you're looking for a deal on beer this might not be the place to go, but if you're looking for a darn good one this is the place to go! Local is pretty solid everywhere, but has such a good location in gastown with the BEST patio. It is always sunny for some reason? but I mean, I'm not complaining. This was such a great dining experience. We sat outside and there was a great ambiance. My husband ordered a Moscow Mule, which was delicious. He strongly recommends it. I ordered an Asian noodle salad, which probably was one of the best salad I've ever had. I'm pretty sad that I can't do anything like this back home. I also got the fried chicken as an appetizer. It was tasty and rich in flavor. Don't miss the spot

This adorable eatery is on a corner in a very trendy spot in gas town. The outdoor seating is really special because you get to people watch and it's on a very quiet end of a corner street. We had great service, and our drinks were delicious. I highly recommend that you order the Paloma. It was perfectly made without being too strong or too sweet. We stopped at this restaurant after doing a free walking tour. Our party of 7 - 4 adults and 3 preteens were sat immediately outside. Most of our group are pescatarian and sometimes struggle with finding a meal where we can all eat. We had two Harvest Salads with the ahi tuna - seared perfectly, my husband ordered the Thai chicken salad with ahi instead of chicken and loved it. Delicious food, nice outdoor seating, and friendly staff. My girlfriend and I are from out of town (Seattle) so we were nervous on picking a place that we wouldn't regret choosing during our limited time in Vancouver and coming here turned out to be one of our favorite destinations! The hop on hop off trolley driver recommended this eclectic spot. Outdoor seating added to our afternoon experience on this sunny beautiful day! I had the beef tacos. This was plenty for me. Honey hold had tuna sandwich and hubby had the ramen noodles. Everyone raved about the collection of tastes and quality of the food. Service was very good as well.
