Fairfax Station location=NOT for natural course hair sis. Only one stylist trained to blow out ethnic hair? No bueno. Color was okay but did not last because my hair grows fast. Customer service was okay. Only went because a friend recommended them. Never again.

Finally, I decided to try this service. So, on Monday, I walked in and standing there for about 5 min without any greeting. There was a gentleman who was helping a lady to setup her next appointment. Somehow the system had a glitch or something, another gentleman came over to help his colleagues. Another five minutes went by, still no one acknowledge my presence. There were no customers getting service at the time. Is saying "hi" so difficult?

Do NOT use this business. First experience, they cancelled my appointment the day of. I received a text message saying they were short staffed and that my appointment had been cancelled. When I tried to call someone on the phone, nobody ever picked up. I was left high and dry as I had an event to attend that night which was the reason I was getting my hair done. This an update to the review. I don't know who gets hair dye out in two light washes.... Who??? That's the protocol there and the washers truly and frankly don't care how you leave the bowl. They met their quota. I could feel the dye in my hair and on my scalp. I took it upon myself to finish the wash and loads of black dye were on my hands within the shampoo suds. Over processed my hair--lost sooo much hair in their DIY drybar post color. Salon offered no remorse. The one star is because the location is convenient and the products smell good.

Terrible service. Inexperienced staff. Clearly they have too many customers and not enough staff, because the staff changes every three weeks. I have an annual membership and I plan to not renew. When I went in to get my hair blow dry today, the person doing the blow Dry was obviously stressed and overworked. She kept pulling my hair and rather than rushing out the notch she just kept pulling at them. I came in to get my roots touched up and refresh my blonde. I told the stylist what I was hoping for (a shadow root) and she told me she didn't know what I was talking about and insisted we try something else. It became apparent when I entered different lighting (I tried multiple lightings) my roots were turned a yellow-orange. I had to go to another salon and pay for a color correction because of the work this salon did on my roots.

If I could give 0 stars I would. By far the worst experience I've ever had at a hair salon. My appointment was delayed by 15 minutes because they stylist first took a women who was late for her appointment, which then caused my appointment to be delayed. When I finally was brought back to the chair, he looked and said "I see you're booked for highlights today, unfortunately we are out of the powder to do the highlights so I cannot do your service today." So, I left a review previously, and the owner responded "Send me your contact info here and I will make your next visit a 5-star". So far as I can see, there is NO WAY to send her a message through Yelp. Am I missing something? I was advised to send an email through Yelp, but no instructions as to HOW.
