The service was fine. If you go on a weekend plan an extra 30-45 minutes for parking. I drove around forever looking and basically had to wait in a garage for a space to open up. Too much hassle!

Extremely poor management and zero customer service at this location, 2921 District Avenue in Fairfax, Va. It was my second visit to this location, and while there was a miscommunication between the hair stylist and me, the manager did ABSOLUTELY nothing to offer any type of resolution. There was ABSOLUTELY no acknowledgment that the stylist failed to convey important information about this second appointment. Just had a very frustrating experience at this location. I arrived 10 minutes late to an appointment (just for roots/self-drying) and was told they couldn't take me as they were backed up. I had driven 30 minutes and booked a babysitter to make this appointment, so I was pretty upset as I thought a 15-min grace period was standard and I had texted the location I would be late ahead of time (to no response). I have been going to this Salon @ Mosaic in Fairfax, Virginia since they opened and have gone through numerous managers and even when they did not have one . Staff is extremely professional and friendly and I can't say enough of my pleasant experience. However now they have hired a new manager who is VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. good stylists, but color low key washed out after the first shower... i had blond money pieces in the front and changed it to caramel, waited a few days to wash my hair and when i did the tub turned orange from everything washing out and i am now back to blond... so basically a waste of money

So I am a black women that learned a long time ago that places like the Hair Cuttery, Bubbles, those "mainstream" salons that like to put up "diverse" pictures really do not want my hair type in their salon. Incompetent staff. Don't trust them with your hair color, please it is not worth!! They told me to come back because I needed another type of service. When I came back, I was told they could not do it. Why did they not figure that out when i had my consultation? Imagine wasting a trip TWICE, not being able to get your hair done before a special event, and taking a day off for the service only to get declined. The manager simply just says "I understand" but really does not care enough.
