Had an amazing experience at the new Madison Reed Color Bar . They are located at the Mosaic District next to the new Sephora. Park in the lot across from the shop. You walk out the door and Madison Reed is right in front of you. They are SO very clean and they practice social distancing. These people were great even though they couldn't help me achieve my hair goals. They were open and honest when I came in about what they can and can not do with my hair. They told me they have a principle against using bleach and that the hair color I wanted would require it. Even though I was disappointed, I admire their honesty and commitment to principle. From the reviews I thought this place was going to be amazing, obviously I was wrong. I walked in because I wanted a consultation. I had called a few days before on if I needed an appointment or needed to pay for one, they told me I could just walk in and would be serviced. The first time i went to the color bar was fantastic, Linda did an amazing job on my Balayage , and i loved how it turned out so i was eager to come back! However, when i returned a few months later, i was disappointed to hear that Linda no longer worked there. I am torn on this one because the person who assisted me strongly felt in their mind that they were really trying to be helpful. I tried to explain what I wanted and why, and I even showed example pics of what I liked, only to be met with a silent look and a continuation of ignoring my appointment request and trying to talk me into something that I did not want at all. The salon was 45 minutes late despite having an appointment. This is not the first time they have been late and there doesn't seem to be a process for checking clients in. Customer service, managing appointments, and the process needs improvement.

Sadly staff at this salon are very rude and treated me with horrible attitude. I would not recommend this location for anyone to get a disrespectful treatment.

It was okay, but I don't think I would return. My experience was disappointing overall. After the product was applied to my hair, the stylist left for the day without telling me that someone else would be taking over. I sat for about 45 minutes before I had to ask someone what was going on and who would be washing my hair. Eventually, someone called me to the sink, but even then, there was no communication.
