U better stay away. Omg. Went in to get the blond out of my hair from 2 months ago . Was supposed to turn out dark blond/ light light brown. Instead I have a dark chocolate color. If it was from a box, it d be a 3 or 4. That lady does not understand hair color. Nice hairdresser, but does not know what she is doing.

I would give 0 stars but there is no option. I got my full highlights done today, it was horrible!! The lady burnt my hair leaving bleach for more than 40min. I realized that my hair was burnt after drying my hair. I mentioned that to her she said you hair was already in that condition. My original hair didn't have even 5 splitends. She was so arrogant. I asked for color consult was told to use ash I said last time I was unhappy with ash she shrugged and said it would be the best. Stupid me! I trusted I have dull gray looking hair lost all blonde highlights hate it!! Sorry I drove in terrible traffic to get there and paid too much $$ for such a disappointment

Update: Now a few days later, my hair looks and feels ok. I like that the product itself doesn't smell harsh and has better ingredients. I rubbed out the black dye that stained my forehead and ears and properly rinsed my hair. Adding a star for the product itself, but I would continue to avoid the hair bar. I was in the process of making my first appointment here and their site makes you sign a liability waiver that basically states you cannot sue them on any account. So if a stylist drops hot water or a hot iron and burns your hair/neck, they are not liable. What type of business will not take liability for their actions?
WARNING. I walked in with BLONDE hair and left with GRAY hair. I complained and was told to just go home and shampoo my hair and she was sorry for leaving the toner on too long. I did that and nothing changed. I contacted customer service and waited on hold for 30 minutes and called back and they told me someone would call me back. No one ever called. I disputed the charge with my credit card company because I had to go to another hair salon the next day to fix what had been done. TERRIBLE PLACE.

Ive got greys so i have to color my hair every 6wks..decided to try this place and unfortunately the "stylists" are very little trained/experience and/or the color did not last for my coarse thick hair. ;( Will never go back

I really wanted to love this experience but didn't. This was my first time visiting a Madison Reed salon. Upon entering the salon, I was surprised at how many clients were in chairs vs. the number of colorists working - it seemed they weren't adequately staffed, and so it took awhile for someone to check me in. The staff was somewhat friendly, the salon was what you'd expect. I specifically asked for my hair not to come out darker than my natural color (deep brown). This salon only does hair color in an assembly line fashion. You can pay extra for a blowout otherwise you dry and style your own hair. The staff is friendly and seems to observe you and may come up to check on you if you look antsy or impatient. The person who applied color was friendly and personable.
