My hair appointment has been canceled 5 times .. due to wind storm they apparently have colorist not showing to work which I totally understand however they continue to rebook my appointments and then cancel them 2-3 hours later. This has happened 6 times over a 2 day period. There main office stated they need to insult with the store manager who continues to cancel appointments without their knowledge .. I have had a total now of 6 canceled appointments

A very interesting experience. In the end, I was satisfied with the color of my hair, pink orchid which is a Demi permanent hair color that gradually washes out. I even purchased the color after my first visit and applied at home. My in-salon experience was a bit odd but the hair color application by their colorists is more precise than I can do at home. I'd give ZERO stars if I could. I had high hopes and was actually enjoying the ambiance and staff..... until I wasn't. I'm a dirty blonde with grey roots. I booked a root touchup and was CRYSTAL clear with my stylist that I did not want to alter my hair color as I wear an expensive halo extension and I couldn't risk my color changing. Customer service is awful. 1 star, would give zero, for the company overall. Great colorist in the shop, finally the right color after 3 years. Customer service told me they couldn't sell the additive product because it wasn't "intended" for the color used. Huh? I JUST HAD IT DONE YESTERDAY. A voiceless, faceless text exchange said no without seeing my hair. I would not recommend. Don't bother with this company unless you live in Kirkland.

Due to understaffing, the manager did my hair coloring. She grilled me about my experience with Madison Reed - at first, it seemed like she was trying to connect with me, but then it was clear that wasn't the case. it kind of made sense then why they were understaffed and had few customer, when usually on a Friday it'd be very busy. Then, the person washing my hair was new. Very kind, and talkative which was nice. Then her coworker chided her for sharing too much. I left a great review 3 years ago but this place is going downhill. I have a membership to where I can go as often as I like. I try and go every two weeks because of my grey. I was notified an hour and a half before my appointment that they were short staffed and canceled my appointment. You can't call and talk to anyone ridiculous

1st time there, waited 30 minutes to start and when someone finally came (did not introduce herself by name) she rudely argued with the me about what I wanted. I've been getting highlights for years, just simple highlights, but she couldn't seem to understand the goal of the appointment (to lighten and touch up roots). There's either a problem with short staffing, apathy and rudeness, or extremely poor management. Called for three days straight to book a consult which can't be booked online. The phone was never answered. Finally picked a color and ordered/paid onlune for Kirkland pickup. Confirmation says to give them a little time to get it pulled. After three hours, tried calling, again no answer. We headed over and went inside where we waited quite a while for acknowledgement of any kind. I'd give a zero star for the rudeness I just experienced if I could. I reached my appointment on time waited for 23 min when colorist tells me either I can wait for 10 more minutes or cancel my appointment. When I ask for an explanation she just goes ahead and cancels my appointment.
