My hair is literally orange. If you expect salon quality results DO NOT COME HERE! I'm naturally light brown and have blonde highlights. I asked the stylist to match the color of my hair which is clearly blonde and she made my hair orange. I showed her a picture of Kaitlyn Bristowe and asked her to lighten it even more like hers and somehow she went with orange. I left the salon crying. I'm so upset this is permanent. I was very excited to try Madison Reed products in a salon because of the quality ingredients in their products. The salon is very nice and inviting. However, I was not satisfied the end result after informing the stylist my stubborn grays need to be saturated in dye for at least an hour. While, the stylist Megan did try to address this problem by combining two different colors, I believe it is the structure of appointments which may have prohibited extended time. I went today to do my roots. I've been trying to get rid of my dark color and have been doing highlights since about 6 months. This lady did my complete hair dark!! I just wanted the roots. I lost my highlights and all the money, time and effort invested since 6 months ago is gone. The more I see my hair the sadder I get. Terrible experience! They offer you knowledge, they don't know what they do. I did like the product they used but how good is that if they did the opposite that I asked for. :-(

Update: I am continuing to go because I like my colorist and I bought a package I need to finish using that is already paid for but Madison Reed lied about reaching out to me. They just responded to my review to act like they care. I also had to reschedule my appointment after they left me waiting 25 minutes past my appointment time with no explanation and took another client who came in after me first.

I have been going to the Plano location since it has opened. The previous times I was satisfied with the service. This time, I made an appointment for a root touch up to cover my grey hair. When I got home and washed my hair there were spots that were missed. Even my hair lines around my face already have visible grey. Based on this, I will probably have to have my hair redone in 2 weeks!

I came in to have my hair done and when I told them what I wanted they said we don't do that here. They explained we can do this and this and you will be happy. After 3 hours it looked horrible I had 3 different colors in my hair. They said well we don't color correct so that's why. They knew I was going outta town for sev months and now I had no time to get it fixed. They actually told me to go to another salon to have it fixed?! I had no more time or money. I will never ever go back!!

When I arrived, there was no greeting, no welcome and it took the girl about two minutes, staring at the iPad screen, to confirm my appointment. I was afraid I wasn't on the schedule. Finally she confirmed me after standing in silence for two minutes. The salon is very "spacious" and stark, with lots of wasted space which echoes. The color does not last. It faded in 2 weeks. The color was 8 NVA. It was darker than the rest of my hair. I usually use a light ash blonde from Sally's.
