Thought that being able to get my grey roots done at any time throughout the month would be great as my hair grows fast and roots start showing quickly. However, I've been a few times now and it's just not cutting it. The main issue - This last time I went to the Plano location, I told them you have to leave color on longer than 1 hour. Never getting my hair colored at this place again. The staff don't even ask you what color you prefer or care about you in general. Most of the staff are rude and need training on customer care. I went in For a touch up gloss for my highlights and needed my roots retouched as well. The staff said he will do an all over color instead. Fair enough. He then proceeded to mix BLACK color without even consulting me if that is what I want my hair color to be. Also, the products made my hair dry and brittle. Not worth going here.

I hesitate to leave this review because there is so much that I like about Madison Reed, but they have a major problem. I'll start with the good points. The color product is great, and I'm very happy with the colorists in the salon. I also use some of their shampoo and conditioner products at home. But there is an issue in the fact that you cannot call the salon as there is no phone. not a good experience at all. i was there for 3 hours . i asked for dark brown to cover my highlights and Emily applied very light #5 on my hair . thencshe said that she has no time to fix my hair. dante had to fix my hair but he wasn't happy to do so & they never gave me any discount or apologized for anything. i had to ask for water 3 time. how rude And poor customer service. the last time i had to wait 1 hr and they never gave me any discount also.

I shared a review here in September mainly about the poor customer service I encountered with my salon appointment. I received a response on Yelp from Madison Reed requesting me to message them, and that someone would be in touch. I did message them, and as expected, no one reached out to me. This solidifies my point that Madison Reed has terrible customer service not only in the salon, but corporate as well. I do not recommend this salon, or this business in general.

it's very simple they star with Good service in Plano Legacy Drive, in this moment they canceled 6 times my appointments, and continuing doing. Very bag experience they change for mistake my blond hair to brown , and they do not know how get it back. Was a mistake of one of the girls work there and the Manager do not take responsibility of this I will attachment a picture.

I had an appointment on a Friday in October before I left for a wedding in Chicago the next day. On my way to the appointment, google maps took me to the west side of the Tollway. I called the salon, and, there is no direct phone number for it. There is a central number for all Madison Reeds. I was on hold for 15 minutes to let them know that I was on my way for my 3 hour appointment. Love the color and products..do not love the service. My head literally hurts from being shampooed so hard. I have been coming here for a while and while I do love the products and color, it's just not enough to stay. If you don't care about service and have a super strong scalp, this place would be great for you, otherwise, look elsewhere.

I had to create a profile for my 15-year-old daughter, which included her date of birth, in order to make her appointment. I then spoke with someone at their corporate office to try to make an appointment for myself at the same time, telling him that it was my 15-year-old that I was coming with. At no point did anyone ever tell me that they don't do any work on anyone under 18! It isn't listed anywhere on their website, and no one told me!
