Madison Reed products RUINED my hair. As soon as in person salon restrictions were lifted, I went in to do color corrections. 2 visits, 6 hours each at $450 per session for a total of $900 to FIX my damaged hair. SO BAD. This stuff smells like burnt tires and DESTROYS your hair. DO NOT USE! It is also NEVER covered any gray. If I could give negative stars, I would. Some have said that I should sue to recoup the $900.
In one hour and a half of treatment they don't even offer you a glass of water. No one speaks to anyone. Not friendly. I wanted to cover grey and be a little bit lighter colour and I left darker than before. Not a nice experience.

I always wanted to try this place so I'm husband bought me a gift certificate to try it. I was a little skeptical booking an appointment at studio city location because of their ratings ,but we do like sugar fish next door so I decided to combine both. The girl that was doing my roots was OK but really pushing to sell membership which is fine. When I asked to get a gloss she said it will be additional $30 which is fine , but when it was time to put the gloss she said that I have a lot of hair and it will be additional $10. B... read more

I went into this location last week and consulted with a hair consultant. I specifically asked for a caramel color that would cover my grey. The consultant seemed to know what she was doing. After coloring my hair, I ended up with black hair that didn't cover my grey! I emailed the customer support email with my complaints and didn't hear anything back. Very very disappointing customer service.

Image my surprise! The new Madison Reed required proof of vaccination which I promptly provided (boostered, too) on entering the salon. When I asked the hairdresser if he was vaccinated, he said they were not allowed to say yes or no. What? Absolutely ridiculous. I left immediately. They are going to have to work on this once the word gets out. People aren't going to go for this.
