Honestly loving Madison Reed! Today I did my roots, a gloss and a seal and finished with a Blowdry. The color is very rich and shiny !! The staff is friendly and the space is nice part of a new strip mall at the sportsmen lodge. Highly recommended!!

I recently visited the Studio City location. This was not the first visit but it was a similar experience I have had the previous times! I used their product during P for my own hair stylist applies it! Each time lately there isn't anyone to help me! They do not have a front desk, so I always have to wait for an employee to finish their job to help me! Also, nobody answers their phone. It goes to a AI generated voice message! I went in for a partial highlight and roots take only touch up. After speaking with the stylist, she recommended highlights and we rescheduled so there would be more time, which I appreciated. I go in today for my appointment and I'm sent to a different stylist, which is fine. We discuss what I want and she then starts telling me that I wasn't going to get anywhere near that. That they are an "express bar" and full highlights are only 54 foils and that I'd need three sessions and she only has an hour to do my highlights.... read more

I tried all over color on my hair for the first time. I requested for a dark brown black for the natural hair color. But the shade that they used is black. Not happy with the change of my hair color. On top of it after paying a $127 price, no one even dried the hair. I understand I don't buy blow drying, but drying hair has to be done to figure out the hair color once ur hair dries. I have visited this location at least two times before and had solid experiences. I always get a partial highlight. I visited last Thursday, and when it was time to blow dry my hair, I could barely get a comb through it. My hair was a tangled mess. I asked the colorist if the woman shampooing my hair perhaps didn't use any conditioner. She assured me she did and offered to rewash it for me, but I didn't have the time to stay another hour. This location was horrible. I called to ask if I needed an appointment for a consultation. I was told I could just walk in. When I walked in, the person who greeted me told me she was busy with a customer, the other ladies were doing inventory and she did not think anyone was available to help with the consultation. The hair colorists here are nice and friendly. The issue I have is with the company and their products. I came only for my roots. The last two visits have been terrible. After my wash, I was brushing my hair and clumps came out. Wish I had taken a photo but I didn't want to offend the hair colorist because it's not their fault for the poor quality of products used. Madison Reed needs to do better! I googled hair loss on Madison Reed after my experience and there are multiple lawsuits related to hair loss. Please look it up ... read more

The location in Studio City has no street signs, no clarity for parking, and when I called for help someone in an overseas office answers and could not help me. I arrived 15 minutes early to where google directed me and wasn't able to find the physical location until an hour after my scheduled appointment. The manager said it happens all the time. Google needs to be updated and Madison Reed needs to text new clients with help finding this hidden location. I had to pay $49 to park because I was not given a ticket upon arrival... read more
