Terrible experience buying at home color kit after color bar. I went back to buy the at home kit after a color bar experience. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing at the desk. They told me I had to buy two color kits, but they told me to mix incorrect proportions and the color was no where close to my original color. Now I have to go to a salon to fix their mistake. So much for being an easy hair color option. Very disappointed.
Why would Madison Reed want to ruin their reputation by hiring a mean spirited woman( dark hair and nose piercing) Does not know anything about coloring or the product and ridicules customers in front of them and others...nasty face making and lazy good for nothing gave all the wrong info and ruined my color..

Wanted a datknto lig gloss brown and they used a dark gloss,so I left with black hair and black roots. They didn't charge me since I was unhappy with my hair color and the manager yelled at me and told me to leave as poor customer service. I felt bad for the hair stylist because I wanted to give her a tip at least. He the manager won't let me and yelled at me in front of all the customers. I went in for a root touch up to try out the new salon. The decor is cold and sterile. The washing chairs were incredibly difficult on the back. The price of a root touch up is $70 which is not different than other places however, you have to dry your own hair or you can choose to pay an additional $35. Most salons will do root touch ups and blowout and style your hair for that price. The service by the employee is very good they were all friendly and polite. I had the privilege of getting my hair done my Annalise! I just had some great hair I wanted to cover up but I always had different hair color at the bottom of my hair! She did a great job getting to look natural since I had virgin hair! From the moment I walked in I had a great experience! I received a tour of the color bar and when I finally sat down I was offered some water or tea! love it!! I never blow dry my hair since I have really frizzy hair! WOW! So jealous of others experience. I was really excited coming in and to try this place. It didn't start off well since my colorist was running about 15 mins late, I'd understand if the place was busy, there was about 4 people and a handful workers. I had to ask make sure they didn't forget about me. Finally sat down, told her this is my first time and I didn't know how it all works.
