Have been meaning to update my post ((from 2015...oops!!)) I need to give the owner credit where it is due....Since my last post I did go back to Maggie McFly's in Middlebury - I don't think I will ever go back to Southbury!! I find the staff and food at the Middlebury restaurant just all around better. Again lots of vegetarian options and yummy apps for everyone to share. I'm so unsure how I want to review this place. The atmosphere is great. Lots to look at and fun setting. Comfortable tables. The wait staff was great. I guess the food is my only confusion. I got a Brie and pear salad that was supposed to have a balsamic dressing and there was no dressing. I had to ask for them to bring me some and let me tell you, there's not enough dressing to drown out how awful that salad tasted. I had to tell them there was no way I can eat it. Pros: seated very quickly. Good wheelchair accessibility from the front of the restaurant to the table. Courteous waitstaff, quick to attend. Cons: cocktail was made incorrectly. Didn't taste good even after it was corrected. Beer menu had a mistake in one beer description. Food was overcooked and missing ingredients. Didn't taste good. Took a long time to arrive. Food was bland and unappealing texture. We plan on giving them a second chance. I will update this review after our next visit.

I'm a big fan of all the Maggie McFly's restaurants. The menu selection is massive and lots of local ingredients. The pasta is homemade and surprisingly really good for not being purely an Italian restaurant. I've liked all the entrees I've tried here. The chicken garlic pasta (homemade) is really good. This is one of the few places around that are open late night for takeout.

Third time been here - best of all; had fantastic acorn squash soup, then the Cobb salad - very good. Great service (Shannon) Yes will be back. Think secret is go there when it's not busy.

I love Maggie McFly's. I usually order the bang bang shrimp and chicken and it always tastes good. I would give it 5 stars if the service wasn't so slow.
Stopped by with 2 friends from work on the way home. Very friendly greeter and wait staff. Ordered a burger that I would give a solid 3 stars possibly 4. The wait time was ridiculous. Waited 1hour for 3 hamburgers. Waitress said they were backed up in the kitchen but the place was near empty. No excuse. Probably a bad day.
This place was very nice! It was very large and spacious inside and beautifully decorated. I ordered the Vegetable sand which and it was delicious! Their Cobb salad and calamari was fantastic too. Although, their was a minor mess up, where they delivered the calamari to the wrong table and we didint get our appetizer. However, the waitress was very nice and the restaurant gave it to us free. Their sweet potato fries were delicious too. A great place to dine
