We were there Saturday 9/15/18. No one was there to greet us, 3 families waiting. Not a lot of people but the wait for food was very long. They seemed very short staffed or just a slow cook. When we finished no one available to give bill to. Yikes! Was dissatisfied with the whole delivery system. Good food, no complaints, just wished service would be better.

As for timing on the food, we do make everything from scratch which is why it could take a few more minutes than usual on delivery of food. I love this place! Massive and extensive menu, that covers just about every cuisine on the planet. Have never had a bad meal here. I don't eat carbs, so I always order one of their amazing huge burgers minus the bun with a salad instead of fries, with an appetizer of just straight up bacon! Where else can you just order some thick cut bacon for a few bucks as an app?! Great atmosphere for kids as well! Came here yesterday for a late lunch / early dinner . Was greeted nicely at the door , and sat immediately . Our server came over . I was so impressed with Maggie's . I haven't been here in a couple years . We each had the choose your selection of three tacos . I cannot believe how delicious our meal was . I had avocado taco , shrimp taco , and lobster taco . I'm a regular at Maggie's. It's fairly inexpensive, drinks are good, service is decent. It's a good week night quick bite place.
I am always skeptical of a place that has a book for a menu... they can't make all these dishes that good!! But I have to say I was rather impressed with the few dishes we ordered. We shared a few different apps- buffalo bites, spinach dip, potato skins. The were really large plates- way too much for two people and was rather impressed with the food. Service was prompt and friendly. All in all a good experience!

Pro: one of the few late options in the area, lots of tvs for sports fans and a large menu, and large portions- (particularly for the pasta), cheese tortellini with sundried tomato was huge n tasty and well priced Con: menu is hit or miss, ie brussel sprouts were underseasoned, wait staff inconsistent with attentiveness, but all of this is par for the course for a high volume late night brew pub

Hostess was friendly and seated us right away waitress was attentive and sweet. Ordered the Lobster With creamy risotto and asparagus it was delicious. Perfectly cooked! Excellent value the lobster was done to perfection and the Risotto was yummy! Keeper for sure! Great experience! Place was packed!

I love this restaurant. It's almost like a smaller version of Cheesecake Factory. The menu is HUGE and literally everything I've had has been delicious. I've had a Cheesecake and a cupcake as desserts / cupcakes are overrated but the cheesecake was great! This is def my new go-to joint!

Have been meaning to update my post ((from 2015...oops!!)) I need to give the owner credit where it is due....Since my last post I did go back to Maggie McFly's in Middlebury - I don't think I will ever go back to Southbury!! I find the staff and food at the Middlebury restaurant just all around better. Again lots of vegetarian options and yummy apps for everyone to share.
