We had planned to have a pergola built instead but after the presentation we felt the awning was the best way to go. Only thing I may do I remove the valance because the thing flaps in the slightest breeze and get annoying but otherwise we feel we made a good choice. :-)
Marygrove offers the same products and options as other, bigger companies and at a comparable price. What swayed me to Marygrove is, 1) Alex Dedman. Any company that keeps such accomplished and knowledgeable folks on staff gets my business. He was great! 2) I will always be dealing with Marygrove, not some "affiliate." 3) My package has greater flexibility and some extras not included with others. SO glad I waited and chose Marygrove!
We have been looking for something like this since we moved to our lake house. Priced Sunsetter. Seemed expensive and complicated to deal with. Contacted Marygrove via web form and scheduled appointment for the next day, which was Sunday. The sales guy, Brett Rider, was prompt. He quickly measured our deck, and took pictures. Straight to the point, no fluff, asked me what I wanted and answered all my questions including showing me a picture of the end product on my deck!! For what I'm looking for and the cost, plus the outstanding sales service I am more than pleased! Miaya is one heck of a sales representative! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!
The installers showed up in the time frame they said they would and were very friendly, They removed my old awning and installed the new Marygrove awning with no problems. Explained the features and tested everything. We used the lights after dark and we love them and the awning. Most important, the installers were terrific and did not mind me sitting and watching and answering my questions.
