We have had a great experience at Meridian at Laguna Hills. Our family is happy our loved one is here. The staff communication with the family has been good, anytime we have questions about our loved one. I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones.

Meridian at Laguna Hills is a five-star facility with great amenities, including a spa and hair salon. There is an independent wing and an assisted living wing, so they have the capability for people who are independent and have their own cars. The apartment is a good value for the money. I think they only thing I wild be careful about is their accounting processes need more efficiency and rigor.

When we went to first check out the Meridian at Laguna Hills we were very impressed with the community itself - you can tell they keep it extremely clean and well organized. They have different dining rooms and all of the staff are very friendly and do a good job keeping an eye on the residents. Based on the experience we have had so far we would definitely recommend them to other families.

It was an exceptional living experience for my mother, from the daily care that she received to the meals. I never once heard her complain about the food, and she liked it so much she didn't really even use her little kitchenette. Her apartment was upgraded and really cute. You didn't feel like you were in a nursing facility at all. Her overall care was 1,000%. I was floored with how great Meridian was, especially compared to other places we experienced. I would recommend it to anybody.

Everything is fantastic over there except for the admin department they don't communicate. Takes a bit to get maintainable but everyone slow now with lack of people. He has a second chance at life and is so overly beyond grateful to your Company and the Meridian. It seriously has been a gift and could not be more perfect. The time you spent with us which was well over a year was definitely worth it! My mom does not participate in activities so we are not able to rate this. Value for cost...she really has not been a resident for long enough for us to know yet. I do want to add that head nurse [name removed] and her assistant [name removed] and her staff go above and beyond to accommodate Moms special needs.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and were pleasant to deal with. The place had a nice look. Probably the one negative comment I have is in regards to the remodeling they did. In the bathroom in my loved one's room, they put in a new vanity that looked really nice, but the drawer fronts were fake. There was not a single drawer, and the only way to get in there was to open the two doors and climb underneath the sink. Other than that, it was good.

I think they were in change of ownership, so they were still working things out. They definitely were trying and working on things though. My loved one was there for a short respite stay. For the most part she enjoyed the food. Move-in and move-out didn't go perfectly smoothly. There were some little miscommunications. And our final bill included some charges that we were not told about initially. We had to kind of fight to get that resolved, but they did refund us eventually.
