In light of their recent idiotic decision to "upgrade" their online banking portal and smartphone apps, I'm drastically downgrading my previous review. The thing that kills me is that their online banking and Android app used to be perfectly fine! Now I can't receive e-bills for my credit cards through online bill pay, and their Android app is basically useless. The conversion and changes to its online/mobile systems are horrible. Metro tried to do too much at once... new website, new online banking, new security system protocols, new mobile apps for all platforms are a steaming hot mess. (Ref. This is without doubt the worst experience with online banking I have ever had. Every bank loan, car loan, credit card and utility on earth allows electronic payment. Except this turd of an institution. Call customer service? Good luck with that.
Fraudulently (twice) resuscitated a home equity loan that was beyond statute of limitations. Do not do business with them
Never ever use metro. 2 car loans @ the sam e time and they constantly took 2 payments on 1 loan then reported the other late. When u do get through 2 someone who doesnt have broken english they are rude. Bunch of incompetent morons. Stay away if u get finance offer from them dont do it. Kiss good bye to ur credit and be ready for insults in the process. It took them 3 attempts to get an $800 pay right. Adios, chau beware
DO NOT GO TO THE LYNN, MA LOCATION FOR A CAR LOAN! BTW the LYNN location gets a rating of ONE STAR. Go to the chelsea location since everything has to be processed and confirmed by them anyways. In addition, they are quicker, efficient, and friendlier. Put it this way, after spending three hours sitting with a branch supervisor to complete a loan, she gives me a 35K check that is NOT signed.
