They have messed up my checking account, no one at the bank is educated on the working of the bank or products it offers.I get a different answer every time I call. The call center is infuriating and I am still waiting for a manager to call me back.
They have to really work on their customer support. The website is down many times, and other than for a locked card they can only help you over phone during regular buisness hours.for instance i once forgot the answer to my security question and i could not reach them until regular buisness hours. I had to go to their ATM to make a transaction that could had been done at home.
I have been a member for 15+ years and have never experienced such a delay in MY vacation club check being sent to me. Every year MY check would be sent to my attention at the end of May. It is now the end of June!! And forget about getting touch with someone. Nothing! I even sent an email and received an ad to apply for a Vacation Club Credit card. I will be closing my account once I receive MY money.
They are great with getting loans, but, I hate actually gping inside this place. There is always a line, and service is very slow. Every single time I come into this place, there is a long line, and only like 3 tellers. Seems as though they don't understand the concept of opening more tellers during busy hours. This surprises me because this is the main branch.
I'm so disappointed with their customer service. Their system goes down a lot, and no one is competent to call you back. They truly don't care about their customers.
So I drive through the drive through ATM at revere beach parkway branch . I currently bank with another bank, so I insert my card to withdraw cash and ATM machine keeps my card. So I call the branch to find out if i can retrieve my card, and there's 6 plus tellers doing absolutely nothing but talking to each other. Standing around. I speak to manager and she tells me they have to wait to service debit machines, and I speak to another idiot there that says they have to destroy my card because I don't bank there. WTF! If I could give it less stars I would!! I have a "free checking" account with Metro. I was charged $12.00 for inactivity on the account. Plus a had a horrible experience with my last mortgage!! I have contacted them to no avail!! Removing all accounts !!
There is a reason their ratings are so low. They have the absolute worst customer service!! Don't even try calling them on the phone- you will waste at least an hour waiting for someone to get around to answering. Avoid this bank if you can.
I signed up for this credit union because it was ranked one of Massachusetts' best credit unions out there. Several months later, I decide that I want to apply for a pre-approval letter, shop around for mortgage rates and get in touch with a loan officer. My customer experience problems: 1) Phone: You CANNOT get in touch with anyone!!! I called the Customer Service number SO many times to be disconnected while on hold, waiting over 10 mins, and being re-routed through the automated prompts.
