I've been a member for about 12 years because it came through a job I had. The no-ATM-fees (anywhere, ever) is the best thing about this place. I can't speak to loans as I never took one from here. But the online/app/distant ATM experience has been increasingly frustrating for the last year or two. "Upgrade" should always be used in quotation marks no matter the business, but the bugs are ridiculous and this time around there's been no response to two requests to fix things. Never in my life have I had so much trouble trying to pay a bill to a credit union. It has been an absolute nightmare for the last 3-weeks and I still cannot get a straight answer from them. I mailed a check that they "didn't receive" even though the envelope I used was pre-addressed by them and paid to cancel it. I tried to setup an account online but it won't allow me to enter my bank information. It also won't allow me to start a new account. When I call they cannot give me account information on the phone. Awful, just awful...I have been trying to get in touch with them for at least two weeks in reference to my Christmas club account I have with them for many years through my employer, after finally getting through I was informed they took my Christmas club and made the decision to deposit into another account I have with them, who are they to decide where my money goes? DO NOT USE METRO CTEDIT UNION!! Their two star rating is truly a two star rating.

Have you ever very heard of a bank who doesn't answer their phones?? I mailed my car payment out two weeks ago. It still has not been cashed. I have a feeling it is sitting in their office. To be on the safe side, I did a stop payment on the check. Just in case, it was lost in the mail. I called to do a payment over the phone. They do not answer their phones!!! They have one phone number for ALL their locations!! Awful service!!

Today is OCT19th....their online banking is still down....all the negative reviews are true....they missed their own deadline...facts are facts! "We're building a new experience that will transform the way you bank with us! Online Banking will be unavailable starting at 6:00pm 10/09 until 8:30am 10/13"

Of course I'm late to the party. I've heard really good reviews on behalf of this bank word of mouth. All was good until they updated their system. Online banking unavailable for the weekend while the system got updated, of course the update continues into Tuesday and still can't get in. Several phone calls placed where the call was disconnected and when you finally get someone " they can't assist, they only handle locked out account and will escalate to a supervisor which then comes back to " nobody is picking up the li... read more

Worst bank ever, I would rather put my money under my mattress in an old home in the woods in California then leave my money with these people. Ever since they took over our credit union it's been nothing but a pain in the ass dealing with these people. Their customer service is horrible and needs a whole new look. This bank sucks

No one takes responsibility in this bank. I have been trying to get a service done. On hold for hours on call center. You ask for call back and they hang up. I finally spoke to someone and they gave me the wrong information. I asked for a supervisor. No call back.

Have had nothing but problems since financing our car thru Metro in May 2020. Inept processing of paperwork, lack of knowledgeable customer service reps, when you can actually reach someone. Have spent over 2 hours, and 8 calls to them, and still no results! Should have stayed with DCU but was persuaded with a slightly better rate at dealer. They are def. Getting kickbacks!
