Have to reset the network The printer itself works fine but just like some other comments said, I have to reset the printer’s network every few weeks or it won’t print from my computer. 12/24/2018 update: The connection issue is getting worse. Arrrgh!!! Do yourself a favor and buy something else. This thing may print really well but I'll probably never know. I've stopped my 3 hour plus setup (I'm not that stupid for it to take that long) to write this. Now I'm trying to figure out how to reduce a copy to 50% of the original. The printer controls ( and the setup program) are the least intuitive of any that I have ever seen. The custom settings are there but it keeps reverting to 100%. Fax Could you provide the steps on how to use the fax feature? I can copy and print, but the fax feature shows a message that states busy. I have tried 3 different companies fax numbers and can not use the fax feature when i try to fax from my Brother product.
My First Brother Initial setup was no problem. This low cost printer is working very well with better than expected output. The noise level is moderate and speed to print from start up adequate. Each new set of XL ink cartridges will cost the same as the original cost of the printer, no surprise there. Will replace this printer after the one year warranty expires if cost to replace remains the same. Worst scanner quality ever Even at the highest res the scans dont look right. They are not sharp and also, the wireless connection keeps going away. I guess you get what you pay for....

Goes though ink unusually fast & unable to use wirelessly This machine used ink unusually fast and would not print in black if any cartridge was low. I was unable to use this wirelessly. I would return it if I could.
