Decent printer, terrible customer service Worked great for two months. It died. Called Brother for service and it has been terrible. Going on two weeks with no printer and they say it will be about another week and a half to get my printer back. Terrible service.
It’s ok It works but it is cheap
No USB port You have to know it has no USB port and cannot save scanned file in your thumb drive. The print connect USB port is inside of printer. Hided.
What a rip-off! Stick em’ up. The only purpose of the newer brother printers are to stick you with a high ink bill. I do 99 percent of my printing in black and white. My color cartridges empty at the same rate as the higher yield black cartridge. If the colors are out the printer shuts down even though you install a new black cartridge. After it says the cartridges are empty if you pop the covers off they are 75 percent full. You can refill them. You just have to buy more. Garbage Absolute garbage. Wifi setup is impossible. It continually fails to connect to our wifi network that every other device can use. When it appears to connect, it then quickly drops the connection. Buy something else. Update - I've added a star because the printer seems to be cooperating and working periodically. Still, any time you lose power, you'll have to re-do your connection process. The printer does not remember how to connect to established wifi networks.
DO NOT BUY The printer likes to check for firmware updates on it own and when it finds one it starts beeping once a minute. It will make you want to take murder whoever designed this printer because it wakes you up in the middle of the night for a firmware updated. HORRIBLE DESIGN FOR A CHEAP PRINTER.
Will not print if ANY ink is empty The printer has a built in feature that will shut down the printer and make it inoperable if ANY ink is out. You cannot print in Black and White if the Yellow ink is out for example. This feature may be great for Brother because it will force the customer to replace all inks, but it is a horrible feature for the customer. Avoid this printer. Avoid this printer. Upon unboxing, printer would not recognize ink. Two tries with Brother support and they determine I had bad ink. Brother sent replacement ink, still did not recognize. Returned printer. Purchased the MFP-L2750DW. More expensive but it works right out of the box.
Friggin Frustrating When this thing friggin works, the print quality is great. But it NEVER WORKS. I liked all of the different features for the price, but it is the least user-friendly printer I've ever used. It's constantly cleaning itself for no reason, and there's an update inexplicably every few weeks. Ever time I try to print something, it's an hour-long troubleshooting endeavor. Over it. Next time I won't cheap out.
