It is what it claims to be For the price, can't beat this little guy! It's been working very well for a light-duty printer/scanner/copier; won't use it as a fax. Simple to link to desktop; colors aren't vivid as they are in more upscale printers, so if that's a deal-breaker for you, look elsewhere. Ink cartridges last about as long as they did in my previous HP and Canon printers. Wish it printed 3X5 index cards but 4X6 come out well.
