Could be better. This Mustang is a gas guzzler (Ink) but good machine when it comes down to speed. People have complained about the ink heads but I just deal with it by running maintenance on it every month yes headaches trust me I know. Another headache is the way the machine doesn’t communicate with my computer in order to scan etc. for this its a constant “try again” until it reads it, try pushing the power botton to wake the machine up before scanning docs through pc/mac etc
Constant paper jamming with two-sided printing Print quality seems good and printing is very quick. The paper tray is poorly designed and your documents often come out out of order. If you need to do two-sided printing this is a terrible option. Printer constantly jams and requires maintenance to return print quality following a jam. I will be returning the second unit I tried.
Oh Brother! Only works if paper tray is out, otherwise jams! First day, massive paper jam. You can only print copies if you go over to the printer & pull out the paper tray for multiple pges. If you print from another device in a different room, you will not know it the extended paper tray is pulled out or not. I printed one page no problem. Do Not Buy, Date and time will not stay set. Will not scan both sides of a document through the ADF. Color printing is bad and that is being kind. Functions are difficult to use. Have used a lot of printers on the job and off this is the worst. I do not recommend.
Knocks printed pages to the floor.. The printer works fine, but it tends to knock already printed pages on the floor, especially when printing duplex. If you print a document of, say, 5 pages, the printer prints the first page and sets it on the tray. When the second page is finished printing, the printer kicks it to the tray with enough force that it frequently knocks the first page to the floor. Expensive to operate. The printer seems to go through the ink very fast. The ink is half the cost of the printer, so very expensive. I want an inexpensive printer with fax capability and this fit the bill at the time. I would look further if I had to buy again. Maybe a Canon or Epson.
Better than Canon but was hoping for plug-and-play. More like plug and wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait.. 05.29.2017 - I've installed a number of printers at the office and at home and so far, this printer has been the most time consuming (2-3 hours for unpacking and waiting for prompts). For some reason can't set-up WiFi and Bother customer service is closed. The only reason I've given three stars is because it prints faster than the Canon I had previously. Did not work: sent back Some of the ink cartridges were used and found a document from a previous owner on the glass. Returned for full refund.
One Star brand new, never worked.
