Do not buy this printer. This is the only bad review I've ever had to write. The company I work for bought this printer for me. If I would have looked into it myself, I would have seen the bad reviews for this model and selected something different. Setup was easy. Printer worked for a couple months then black clogged. Cleaning solved the issue for a couple weeks, then it occurred again. I went through several cartridges while repeating cleaning cycles (which consumes a lot of ink) and it never got much better. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH HELL BY PURCHASING A BROTHER PRINTER!!!! I had so many issues with this printer, I do not know where to begin. I just threw it in the garbage. I didn't smash it. It didn't deserve that amount of energy. I simply unplugged it and walked it to the garbage. I purchased two of this printers at the same time thinking they would work out great. That was my mistake. Don't BUY Wouldn't print color. Brother support kept telling me to due the same over and over and over again. Didn't work! Save yourself some headaches don't buy this JUNK.

Faulty Startup Process I followed all startup steps as shown on the package insert up to "Check Paper Quality," which appeared on the device's digital window; but after pressing the button to start the check paper quality, I got a message that said to fix paper jam! Worst Printer I've Ever Owned After several times of trying to keep this printer connected to my computer through wi-fi, I give up. I'm buying another printer. This is the WORST printer I've ever had, with the single-most unstable wi-fi connection. I get it to work for a day, and then it quits again. Wireless Connection Unstable At first I hated it. Then I sorta liked it. Now I trust this machine. Their customer service is awful - if you have a problem with installation they won't help you. Install the driver/software with the printer connected to the computer through a USB port. Then you can switch to wireless, but I haven't found a printer that is stable with wireless yet. I just keep mine plugged to the computer.
