Won't print 47 seven pages, even in 20 page increments. Although this printer had high ratings, it has been a horror for me. One Star bought in July 2017 and now it’s kaput. so difficult to find a reliable inkjet printer.

Lots of problems printing from the internet I have had this printer for over a month. I have been trying to problem solve connection issues the entire time. Either I am missing something very obvious that is not standard on my 2 other printers (Canon and Epson) that installed and work great or it is a problem because it is a "new" refurb. I wanted to return it but they only offered a replacement product. Will NEVER buy a brother product again. Don't buy it to save yourself trouble.

Scan Feature Disappears with Windows 10 It worked ok for a while, although it tended to lose connection to my laptop often and I had to reboot either my PC or the printer about half that time. Then I upgraded to a new Windows 10 laptop and downloaded the Brother software. There were a lot of bugs and errors in the installation process but I finally got through it. Disappointing on many fronts. I'm sorry I didn't return it right away. I was not impressed from the moment it came out of the box. Cheap plastic build, very limited paper tray (plus not user friendly to refill), SINGLE sheet bypass feed (really, Brother??) Wifi setup was easy enough, scan quality is ok, but print quality is mediocre at best. The colors look washed out, and even changing the setting to 'Best' only makes them marginally better. then I would give the printer good marks. If you have an iMac desktop....DO NOT buy this printer. Aside from the fact that the software constantly requires you to delete and add the printer after every few print jobs, the machine performs well. However, after hours with customer service (who informed me that they were aware of the problem, but could offer no remedy other than constantly deleting/adding the printer), I would never buy a Brother's printer to pair with a Mac. I have several Macs and the printer works fine for me. It scans, prints, and does everything I ask of it. There are actually three of these in my family now. I originally bought one for my daughter at college (MacBook Pro). She liked it so much I bought one for myself (MacBook Air and Hackintosh). I liked it so much I got one for my dad (Windows 7). It's so nice to have an inkjet all-in-one with affordable ink.
Not happy, tried Brother from an HP, disappointed. I liked that it had a top feeder, although it gets jammed frequently. I liked that it was supposed to be fast and starter ink was supposed to be plentiful. I am disappointed all the way around. I have used this for 4 weeks and maybe printed 50 sheets, ink is out and I already have paper jams. I am also disapointed in the quality and placement of the paper tray, it feels cheap and you have to close the paper extension arm to open the paper tray, it is connected.
