Noisy and slow. Noisy and slow!!!! Got this recently and returning this product within one week now. It’s really slow compared to my old Epson. Also it makes lot of noise. Quality is also cheap. Wonder how come we have so many positIve reviews. I took this printer based on amazon reviews.

No way to hardware connect iPhone to printer and no way to keep WiFi connection. This is the worst “air printer” I’ve ever had. It drops the connection and the brother tech can not help unless I give him access to my lap top. I told him I’m using iPhone but he insist I get a lap top.
Do not buy if using a Mac Do not get this printer if you use a Mac. It requires reconnecting to the wireless network every single time you want to print something or scan something... for each individual document. It's simply infuriating.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! This product is a major POS. Every time it goes to "sleep" it shuts off my computer's access to the internet. I have spoken to the company several times, only to be told that it's not their problem. The problem occurs both with wired and wireless connectivity. I have had HP printers for the past 10 years, and based on various ratings online, decided to try Brother. MAJOR MISTAKE. This NEVER happened with my HP printers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Will not hold Wi-Fi Connection This printer is constantly losing it Wi-Fi connection, have to be reset 2-3 times per day. One week after return window closes. This is what I'm paying extra for a Prime Membership, That they are increasing by +20%. After 10 plus years I'm through with it.

complicated Maybe if i read the directions better this printer would be good but it is not intuitive and after 2 years haven't figured it out. It is just sitting. Maybe this year I will read directions and change my review.
If you Duplex, look for a different printer. Utter Junk. The printer works, but duplexing jams a lot. Now after 14 months (still using the same original ink because I don't print often but when i do I am printing out articles to bind and need double sided copies) of ownership they are sending me out replacement #3 same problem every time the feed mechanism for duplexing isn't pulling evenly..changed to settings in control panel to slow it down no change. Paper Jams using the rear feed manual tray I bought this printer for the long lasting ink and the manual rear feed tray, which I use for 6x9 size and business size envelopes. The business size envelopes work fine but the 6x9 size jam 50% of the time. Also, if I'm sending a letter from Word and the first section is the envelope (manual feed), the printer doesn't know automatically to pull the paper for the next section, which is letter sized, from the main tray.
