This printer defeated me! I have been installing dozens of printers in my life. This one defeated me. DAY 1: My computer is a Windows machine without a DVD drive. So I followed the instructions for downloading the full install package. My first attempt failed with a message that a "connection" could not be established. So I created a bootable ISO file from the DVD and tried running it from a virtual DVD dive. It started just fine, but the install couldn't "see" the printer on my WiFi LAN. quality Well I really liked this printer at first the ink goes along way definitely didn't have to replace the cartridges as often as our earlier model but now just a little over 1 year and I am getting error messages unable to scan 50 and unable to print. I have searched and searched for a paper jam or suggested pieces of paper or paperclip everywhere they say to look on the tutorials online ,and can not fix the problem. So I think I will buy a different brand next time

Print quality not good. Not a convenient printer to operate.. biggest complaint is the Brother ink does not have good print quality, and repeatedly cleaning the nozzles does not clear up the problem. Twice in last 4 weeks have run the cleaning process 8 times, after which just gave up as a lost cause. Nothing but genuine brother ink cartridges have been used. Broke with less tha 100 copy’s made Not good .Got paper jam and never would work after cleared several times.

I would not recommend this printer Prints very very slow. I would not recommend this printer.

If you are looking for quality, you need to keep looking. I'm quite not thrilled by this printer. It jams regularly, muddles print orders and does not print high quality, especially for photos. I tried to make it work for a bit too long and when I went to my order page to return it, learned that I'd exceeded the return date (which is 30 days I now see.)

AWFUL print quality - only appropriate for muted, TEXT only printing If you EVER print a photo for ANY reason - even for your kid's homework - get a different printer. This would be a good printer for printing text only, as long as you don't mind the lack of vivid color. The photo quality is terrible, the color is always wrong and muted, with no contrast. I've had this printer for about 18 months, and it's not worth the little bit of savings in ink.
