Fast & Ink Efficient Printer I've never owned a Brother printer before, so this is all new ground for me. I previously bought several HP printers and they always ended up giving me major problems. I needed something that was both an all-in-one device but also didn't suck the ink out through a straw. This printer had all of the basic features that I needed including: printing, copying, and scanning. It prints very quickly and doesn't take 5 minutes to warm up every time you need to use it. 10 months later and still happy with this product Bought this product based on research and good reviews. For at home use this printer is perfect. Quality very good, and the best part of all is that I have still yet to change the ink. The ink that came with the printer has lasted me til now and probably will til the end of the year and I can say I have not been at all modest when it comes to printing, so you can imagine my happiness in saving money.

Prints good...eventually...but good The printer is of good quality and is pretty solid except it thinks a lot about printing before actually getting around to it. I was used to an HP that printed instantly. But the price and economic consumption of ink made the Brother worth it for me. I am happy with it but you may look elsewhere for labor intensive and time sensitive print jobs.

Decent printer for the money Setup was easy and straight forward. Software is decent. Prints, scans and copies fast. It seems (so far) to be very efficient with ink usage as well. The only gripe I have with this printer so far is the rear card stock loader is garbage. It jams often and loads inconsistently. So, if you want to make double sided greeting cards.....good luck. It's difficult and results in a lot of wasted ink and scrap paper.
Great printer This is an excellent printer for the money. The cost of printing is very cost effective.
