Except for printing order, otherwise great The only downside to this printer is that it prints upside down. This means that when I put in Employees checks to be printed it prints them in reverse order from what Quick Books specifies, so I have to take the trouble to rearrange the order of the checks which is a pain in the rear. If in the future you would do what my previous printer does and print them onto the top of the sheet facing up instead of the underside of the sheet facing up, then this problem would not exist. Quiet and fast Really like the printer except always prints 3 or 4 lines on a second page. Instructions don't tell me how to fix. Very fast printing and quiet.
Fast but the toner cartridge leaked all over the i From day 1, I couldn't get a clean print job out of it. Tried cleaning it thoroughly, but the toner cartridge kept leaking. Finally had to discard it and buy a new high yield one. After another cleaning, It's finally working correctly. This was my first Brother printer that made me unhappy after 25 years of using Brother printers. Not happy that I had to discard that expensive high yield toner cartridge though. Waste of money.
Brother Remains the BEST I buy only Brother for my personal use and business use. Perhaps the best laser printer on the market.

Fast reliable printing, copying and scanning This is the best and fastest printer I have ever owned and I have owned dozens. I love haveing the simplicity and reliability of a very fast black and white printer that scans faster and better than my old Epson Professional in black and white and color and that can scsn into image, PDF, OCR and PaperPort modes. All the software works together. That saves buying other software and integrating and updating other software. I love it.
