Misleading does not duplex scan. Only print and not book style...useless I am stuck with this useless brother printer that had a misleading title. I absolutely hate this machine. Please don't waste your money. Make sure you get one that can copy two sides and scan two sides.

Choose a different printer I highly recommend NOT getting this printer. We bought 3 for the office, and all of them stopped working after the first time they ran out of ink. I am seriously tired of all these paid 5 and 4 star reviews that are flooding Amazon. Two of the ones we bought would not register the fact we replaced the ink (even their Customer Service could not help). One would not register the Cyan, even after we replaced the entire set of ink (rather than just the one colour). The second would not register any ink... read more
Horrible - Zero stars if possible Do not buy!!!! Nothing but trouble. Bought two, will not consistently communicate over our network, print quality is poor at best, Brother customer service is terrible. I rarely write reviews but this has been such an extraordinary waste of time I want to make sure no one else experiences the same. Amazon has not help and only sent us to Brother.
WARNING: DO NOT BUY The first day I got the printer, it worked beautifully, right out the box. The very next day, the printer could not find the network and no laptops could find the pinter. Nothing changed, it just simply went offline. I spent days troubleshooting, rebooting, looking online, making sure it was not my network, etc. Than one day, it reappears. Brother printer Great printer so far. I purchased it for my church.
It's fine, but not perfect. Good printer, but it seems to eat a lot of toner. Don't forget to switch to monochrome, as it's cheaper to replace. The scan to email function is junk and it's better to use shortcuts as a quick work-around.
Never Received Extended Warranty that I Purchased Very happy with the printer. Functions are great and was easy to set up. Is working out great for our small business. Still have not had to buy replacement drum!!!!! YAY!!! Prints nice and clear and quickly. Very happy with the printer itself. HOWEVER................I have not received the certificate for the extra warranty coverage. I have emailed the seller about it and never heard back and did not receive a refund. Very disappointed in that aspect.
Very poor product. The printer drivers will not install correctly Very poor product. The printer drivers will not install correctly. The wireless drivers, the direct connect drivers and the network drivers fail to work on any of my four computers. I am still waiting for Amazon to have UPS pick it up from my house. It seems the Amazon has failed to notified UPS to pick it up, for return. It seems that Brother is making a bad printer.
