Good quality printer, great MFC features, suitable for personal or enterprise use. I'm posting this as a preliminary review, since I have only owned this printer/scanner/FAX for a few weeks. I'll post a followup once I've had it long enough to put it through its paces, see how often jams happen (and how difficult they are to clear), see if any other usability or maintenance issues arise, and see how long the supplies last. No problems. So far so good. Easy setup and works as advertised. Haven't used the fax and probably won't.
Good Printer - Good Size I really don't have any complaints about this printer. I've used Brother printers almost exclusively for the last 10+ years and contiue to be pleased with them. I have a home office which is where I use this printer. I use it for printing technical reports containing photographs. I have the printer connected wirelessly. so good to have a consistent performing printer again so good to have a consistent performing printer again! Seemed a little tricky to set up for all the options, but otherwise very pleased with it.
Incredible quality printouts and copies I've owned, used, and reviewed a lot of printers in my life. The quality on this printer is like seeing hi-def TV for the first time. For example, I photocopied some of my kid's mixed-media artwork, and it was able to capture the shadows and textures in a way that had me doubting that the copy was flat. It looked like it had the same textures as the original. Very easy to set up. There's very little in the packaging. The cartridges are already installed. Print speed is very fast.
Outstanding MFP This is an outstanding multi-function printer for our office. Yeah, it copies, scans, etc., but we use this primarily as our "workhorse" printer. This replaces a HP MFP that was just a few years old that "was going to cost more to repair than the cost of a new one." We've been gradually transitioning our office to Brother products after HPs continue to fail (prematurely, in my opinion) and the cost of toner for HPs just keeps getting worse. I never met a brother I didn't like. This multi function machine is no exception I never met a brother I didn't like. This multi function machine is no exception. Brothers customer-service has been exceptional in my experience. In this machine simply does what it's supposed to. The print quality could-be better I suppose but over all I am very very happy with the machine.
