It's an excellent laser printer It's an excellent laser printer. Talk about real performance numbers.... The color accuracy is slightly off when compared to HP. It's a bit more yellow and more orange than actual picture. So I think the magenta and cyan are a bit heavily calibrated. Other than that, the speed is good. The copier is good. Full functions and very easy to set up wifi and collaboration with other users in the office. The start up toner kit lists capacity for 3000 copies and 1800 for some colors. DON'T BUY!!!! lasted only 1 YEAR We bought this printer, and it lasted 1 YEAR, AND 2 MONTHS that's it!. One day the display went dead for no reason. The warranty is for ONLY 1 YEAR, so we got stuck with a BAD printer. the support didn't help because they said, “it was out of warranty, go to a repair shop" and pay more? If I pay for a printer, it better be working for at least 2 years, if not more. This printer was used for home printing only, so there wasn't a lot of printing going on. So Dissappointed I shopped all- in- one printers for weeks and though this would be the best one from the research I did. Boy was I wrong! The USB never has worked, It creases envelope, but I was able to work around all that, but 4 months after the purchase the scanning to my computer quit working and that I big deal for what I do. I can print from my computer, just fine, but I get an error message telling me it can't find the PC when scanning. Doesnt stay connected Id take a household printer at this point, it'll be fine ill print page after page and then all of a sudden errors after that and cant print anything for apparently no reason. Sometimes it happens the first time i try. Its silly.
Scanner broken after only 3 months of barely using I loved this printer when I first purchased it because it actually worked and did well. After three months of barely using the scanner, it already does not work. It will miss pages while scanning or randomly fail to scan the last pages. It is a true disappointment and I am wishing I would have purchased amazon insurance on the item. I am going to have to buy a different product now and wasted over $400 thinking I was buying the best item for my business.
Sooo dissapointed Super slow printing, curls the pages as it prints so they catch on each other and push sheets on to the floor, scanning is slow. Just a POS if you ask me.
Fine for wired lan, terrible for Wireless This printer is quite terrible when connected to a wireless network. I couldn't update the firmware over wireless network. The print speed is quite horrible. A 5 page power point slide desk (~1.8MB in size) took about 9 minutes to print. On a wired network it printed in ~15s.
NOT BUSINESS SAVY_this machine does not work well to be used for running a business This machine has many small quirks and is super sensitive to where it does NOT work easily. Constantly gives error messages when all settings and paper is aligned properly. I have spent HOURS trying to get this machine to work for how I need to run my small-growing business.
