It just works. BEAUTIFUL print jobs. I don't like the cost of the toners--- for sure!!!
Don't bother with HP, buy a Brother Brother is by far better in terms of quality and dependability versus HP. The touch screen firmware can be a little tough to figure out, but other than that, the printer doesn't lose connectivity, unlike HP, and prints and scans well for a home office.

Initial problems; Resolved now. Had to return first one because after spending an hour setting it up, got a “paper jam rear” message that would not clear (had not even loaded paper!). Tech support had me problem solve all the things I had already done before they declared I had to “exercise the warranty”. They sent out a new machine within 5 days. Had to repack the “old” machine and send it back (kind of a hassle!). New machine works great so far. A little slow to initiate printing. Quality of printing is fine.
A good replacement for the MFC-9340CDW When my second MFC-9340CDW stopped working, I found that it was no longer available at a reasonable price, so I started looking at other printers. I very nearly pulled the trigger on one of the new "huge ink tank" inkjet printers, but negative reviews, print speed, print durability, and difficulty of finding one with both networking and a duplexing scanner pulled me back to the Brother MFC family. Mine works wonderfully for 2 years now Bought this because I have had great success with Brother products. The printer/scanner/fax have been flawless. I ran out of toner and replaced it with after market toner. Had Zero issues. Recognized the toners and still works as good as it did when I bought it. Also, I live in a VERY dusty area. I have to wipe everything down often and still have not had any jams or malfunctions.
Excellent printer for a small business We have been using this Brother MFC-L8610CDW printer for about 6 months now and it's working really well. We have used it to print over 20,000 pages with no issues. We had to change the drum set once. Otherwise, it works really well. Highly recommended.
great printer we have the 8500. the features of the 8900 changed - scan over the network to another computer. A little disappointment.
