Print a lot? You need this. As a teacher, my wife prints a LOT of pages. Every night. I was tired of replacing $35 inkjet cartridges every day. We've had this printer for almost a month, and she's printed 1100 beautiful pages so far, and we're through about half of the black toner. There's my general plug for laser printers. Easy to use I’ve had this printer about 6 months and I still love it. The print quality and colors are great. It’s quick, quiet and so easy to use. Perfect for my little business.
Works Fine This printer was installed in my dental office January 2019. It was installed using cable, not by using a wireless connection. It does everything we expect of it. We mostly use it as a fax machine but we also use it to make copies and to scan documents into our system. It's been flawless for over 6 months. The oem toner cartridges are cost prohibitive. I purchased some aftermarket toner cartridges for very cheap and they have worked perfectly so it's not an issue.
I'm glad my other all in one printer bit the dust. This Brother is so much more intuitive. I can send or receive faxes, update my saved phone numbers without referring to the instruction book every time.
Great Very good
Awesome I haven't printed pictures yet but I do print about 600 sheets and envelopes a month for a direct mail campaign and it works great for that. It also uses true airprint flawlessly and it was very easy to set up. The only complaint I have is I wish it could print more than 9 - 10 envelopes at a time before needing to re-loaded.
Fast and economical Takes a minute to boot and load the print queue, but once it starts printing it's pretty fast. Good quality and lots of output before you use the toner up.
Good luck with my first brother printer, waiting to see how this holds up I havent used this printer much yet, but it seems to work well and do what I expected it to do. The color print quality is sufficient, but not as great as I was hoping. I bought this printer to replace a Brother HL-1650 printer that I bought around 2000. Great printer quality Fantastic print quality and super fast. It’s really easy to setup and connect to your WiFi network. My only complaint is the cost of replacement toner cartridges. OUCH! Come on Brother, do you really need to charge $435.00 for toner? I realize it’s high yield toner but $435.00?
