Overall excellent printer, scan to email warning below I am overall happy with this printer. The printing and scanning quality and speed are both excellent. I did not rate this printer 5 stars because the scan to email function leaves some to be desired. In order to scan to email there are two options: 1. Under apps there is an app all the way at the end called Easy Scan to Email and utilizes a Brother server to receive the incoming scan and then send it out from a Brother email address. Color printing quality? I ordered this after a lot of research and deliberation. We've had an HP for just under 3 years, and it keeps getting an error message that requires us to restart it - sometimes as many as 12 times a day. Our repair guy said with the cost of the parts and repair, it's not worth getting it fixed. Because of the weird error message, I wanted different brand and chose Brother. As good as I thought Does just what I needed, have had it for several weeks and have used it for scanning, printing and copying. No problems and no complications since getting it. I just think everyone charges too much for the toner.....

Awesome and Multi-functional -- and requires zero skill to install. I like everything about this printer. Requires zero skill to install this on the network and print to it from the computer, tablet, or phone. Toner price is reasonable and available on Amazon. Brother printers last forever--I'll have this one for at least 10 years. My other Brother laser printer is 14 years old and stills works as well as it ever did.
