Get directionsCorporate pet care at its finest. If you have any other option I would suggest using it. They are using the pandemic to keep customers in the parking lot while delivery drivers and salespeople are buzzed right in. A tech takes your pet and a tech brings it back. You may never see the actual doctor. There is no way discuss grievances with the ownership. Complaints appear to be handled by the clerical staff.
I took my beloved dog to this facility on Thanksgiving. Due to COVID, I was not allowed to walk in the building with him. My dog was lethargic and obviously ill. I mentioned several times that he had not drank water for at least 24 hours. We were told to "not leave the parking lot". After an hour, I called in and asked the status. We were told he was just being seen. 30 minutes later the doctor called and asked if Gilligan had a history of pancreatitis. I stated that he had it once years ago. She then stated that "a history ... read more
I waited until I calmed down to write this. I'll keep it to the point. Dropped cat off at 1pm. Spoke to someone from the vet at around 4pm. The bill was around $300 and they were unable to diagnose what was wrong with my cat. Husband went to pick him up around 6pm but they wouldn't give him our cat until we paid the $822 bill. Neither my wife or myself ever signed anything and never agreed to that amount. This is ridiculous. I now have another cat displaying similar symptoms but we have no idea what's wrong. But at $900 in t... read more
I completely agree with Kristy C's comment. For the record, the vet who did treat my dog was a great guy as was all the vet techs but I do not approve of their fee schedule or the arguable emotional manipulation that can be done so they can pay their mortgage. The first vet never mentioned my dog's chances. If he would have said 10%, 25%, 50%, etc I would have gone another direction. I feel like he pushed me to make a financially haste decision and quoted me $4,000. They should be more up front about your pet's chance... read more
DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! These people do not care about animals. They return visibly neglected animals to their neglectful owners without a second thought. Disgraceful and disgusting. Also, Our dog was put down a few years ago and we realized too late that she was misdiagnosed--which it seems they like to do here by the other reviews. Clearly they overcharge by the other reviews as well. All these people care about is MONEY. If you have to go to an ER go to Blue Pearl in Overland Park. They have Amazing service and he... read more
I am really disappointed and frustrated with the care my pet received. This place is only concerned about getting money out of pet owners. They recommend ridiculous diagnostics that are unnecessary in diagnosing my dog's kennel cough! Story: I took my dog in Sunday morning because he hadn't eaten for 3 days, had laboured breathing, and a fever of 104. They gave me only two options, treatment for dehydration and loss of appetite or $750 blood work up and ultrasound. They hold your dog for ransom. I took the treatment optio... read more
I wasn't looking forward to writing a review, because this line of work is hard. But I wish I'd read something like this when I could've used it. We've brought two cats here to be catheterized for urinary blockage. You can talk price with the vet. Nobody wants to cut corners on safety, but if you have to conserve resources so you can pay to save their life the next time they block, too - talk with them about options and risks. My first cat received good emergency intervention, and I'm grateful to Dr. Powell for recommendin... read more
I called to find out approximately how long the wait was, and she just said they were very busy which was fine and to be expected for a Sunday. I then asked about the cost of a general exam before any medications, after we had had a whole conversation she suddenly "couldn't hear me" and hung up. I never got a call back to answer my question. Not a good first impression so safe to say I won't be taking my pets there.
We took our cat there because he was lethargic. They don't let you go back to the room with your pet so I am unsure if he was examined. After $239.50, they could not tell us what was wrong and wanted to do some blood tests to the tune of $400 to explore further. I asked if my cat was in danger of not making it through the night. They said no. I said I would take him to my vet in the morning. Took him to my vet. My vet found an infected cat bite on my cat and administered an antibiotic shot. The cat was back to his ol... read more
