I've had a membership to mountainside fitness for over 2 years. I love the facilities ! I have worked out at the chase field location and I normally go to the location on lake pleasant. Today I decide to try out this location since it is on my way home. I enjoy doing my own circuit workouts in the ignite rooms, so I checked their online schedule to make sure to go when there wasn't a class. I've been a member of this gym and used other locations for about a year and a half, when they opened this branch I checked it out - Wow! Of course everything is new and clean and almost futuristic like a Black Mirror episode, but not as creepy - it is more spacious than my local branch, and it will likely fill up as more locals enroll, but not to busy when I go (mid-day weekdays) Mostly the same stuff, but a few new things to me - touchscreen ellipticals that I think you can even pull up Netflix on, and weird treadmills tha... read more

Brand new gym. All the equipment is fancy. Lots of class options. Childcare is great, but gets very busy at times. I want to like the peak performance class, but I don't like that it is in the middle of the gym. I've done similar classes elsewhere and it was more organized and had loud music which makes it more fun. I'm irritated by the "enrollment fee" and the "annual fee" for membership. So stupid that they have these fees. Just build it into the monthly membership fee or don't do it at all.

First of all, the gym just opened up so I decided to check it out. The gym is one of the best I've seen, very sleek and clean. It is a very big gym, so having no room isn't a problem. Except when it comes to the cross fit/deadlift area. This area is so small compared to every other gym's deadlift/cross fit area. The gym just opened up, so I didn't expect it to have every machine in the world.
