I would really give this location a 3 1/2 stars but it's not an option so four stars it is. I'm currently on a month to month membership with Mountainside and this is my primary location. The gym basically provides the equipment I need to get a great workout in for a good price. I've taken a few of the fitness classes and have enjoyed them, but I think they could have better instructors for the group classes. Don't sign and pay for an annual contract with these jokers, because when you are in a serious accident and months later you finally recover and get back on your feet enough to just move again, you will not be reimbursed for the few months left that you didn't use on the year full payment. I am sure there is some legal action we could take against them but really happy to be walking at this point. So I will let everyone I know and post as much as I can why this is not the place to go, just another greedy gym.
Great new clean facility but why no tanning? I have been a member of the desert ridge location for years and recently moved to happy valley but am considering canceling my membership to find a gym with tanning.

Wanted to try it out since it is close to my house, I talked with the customer service person, he showed me different options for my family, and give me the 5 day pass. I took my son with me on Saturday night, tried few work out for about 1 hour. On Sunday, I took my daughter and my son with me, the front desk said the pass only works for me. Our staff should have escorted you to one of our Member Service Representatives to provide your son and daughter each with a 5 Day Pass. This is our first gym with childcare. Courtney is AMAZING!!! My son Josiah has had an ear infection this week and has been especially grouchy. Courtney took the time to sit with him, play with the giant light bright and with toys... I was able to watch him interact with her on the cardio equipment and was SO IMPRESSED with her love and attention, made it much easier to relax and get an awesome work out it knowing he was in safe and loving hands.

Love this gym and the entire staff! Welcomed most mornings by Annette at the front desk. She greets my kids and I with the biggest smile. The kid's room (daycare) is fully staffed by the friendliest ladies. They greet my girl's when they come in every morning by name and love on them. I'm usually at the gym 8-9:30am every day and the women who work the kid's room are the BEST! My youngest is so attached to Miss Tara, and I can see why. I've had a membership to mountainside fitness for over 2 years. I love the facilities ! I have worked out at the chase field location and I normally go to the location on lake pleasant. Today I decide to try out this location since it is on my way home. I enjoy doing my own circuit workouts in the ignite rooms, so I checked their online schedule to make sure to go when there wasn't a class. I've been a member of this gym and used other locations for about a year and a half, when they opened this branch I checked it out - Wow! Of course everything is new and clean and almost futuristic like a Black Mirror episode, but not as creepy - it is more spacious than my local branch, and it will likely fill up as more locals enroll, but not to busy when I go (mid-day weekdays) Mostly the same stuff, but a few new things to me - touchscreen ellipticals that I think you can even pull up Netflix on, and weird treadmills tha... read more

Brand new gym. All the equipment is fancy. Lots of class options. Childcare is great, but gets very busy at times. I want to like the peak performance class, but I don't like that it is in the middle of the gym. I've done similar classes elsewhere and it was more organized and had loud music which makes it more fun. I'm irritated by the "enrollment fee" and the "annual fee" for membership. So stupid that they have these fees. Just build it into the monthly membership fee or don't do it at all.
